Unlimited Coaches in College Football

Unread post by waverider »

Chris Vannini has a paid article on the Athletic but tweeted this:
The unlimited coaches era is here.

The NCAA DI Council has approved a proposal to allow analysts and quality control asstants to coach on the field. (Still a limit on recruiters)

Expect standalone coordinators, ST coaches and G5 coaches moving up
That last sentence is crucial and could be the further separation between P and G schools. Now a G5 OC can have his salary doubled to be the 3rd down analyst at Georgia or somewhere like that.
