19 wins matches last year’s total.
20 wins. One more than last year.

Wave wins the series.

Tulane turned in their best outing of the year; crisp defensive play; Fladda was in command pitching his full 7 innings. Tuft and Marget were the batting stars along with Haas and Rasmussen.

Last night they looked like a competitive baseball team. First time this season but they looked like a baseball team.

I thought the same thing while watching it. The problem is consistency. Can they repeat this performance all 3 games this weekend? That would be a good time to start.

Excellent game.
Inconsistent team, which is suggestive.
Reminds me of a Scelfo football team.

I feel bad for Billy Mohl if this is a downward trend, but I feel good about getting two convincing wins. After FQ Festing all day I caught a little of the 6th inning on the radio and watched the last two innings when I got home.

We looked good tonight.

I like the approach at the plate: advancing baserunners, hitting with RISP/ 2 outs. My little boy got Teo Banks home run ball as a souvenir. Completely made his day

I would love to! It was a wonderful experience. AD Harris and his staff did a great job with making it all work with no problems. And the team looked great. The guys I met could not have been nicer or more accommodating. You should be proud of all of them. All of them were on the rail cheering their teammates the entire game. A beautiful night for baseball.

Since I couldn't get there to see it, how'd it go?

For those scoring at home, we are currently in 7th place. (I don’t know if all games are complete this weekend).

ULL is up to #14 in D1’s top 25. The only Louisiana school ranked. We could have easily won two of those games.

Also of note:
IC Irvine is #17.

Our only ranked future opponent, as of now, is ECU at #9.

2/3 series win is a pleasant surprise. Let's hope we can get some momentum.

And we may need to start a petition to get Cheerleader to throw out the first pitch every game...
