RIP Carl Weathers

Unread post by PeteRasche »

I debated putting this under the Sports forum since he was a former athlete and seemed to play athletes in movies...

Always seemed likeable even when playing a bad guy.

RIP.

In more things than I realized. Most recently he was a recurring character in mandalorian, but Rocky, Predators and even an appearance in Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Sad to see him go in what seemed like sudden fashion

And don't forget how he lost an arm to a gator but still mentored Happy Gilmore to that championship win to save his Granny's retirement home!

MY wife was surprised to read that he was a St. Aug grad! RIP
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?
