Totally disagree. Wade's actions are strictly about fair play, and many coaches and talking heads in college sports actually feel that cheating like Wade did is just part of the sport, big deal, nobody really gets hurt except competitive balance. Ask me if I care about Tulane fans' feelings.

Assault on women and abuse of power to take advantage of women has become equal to murder, and no argument that it shouldn't. In fact, just look at the Baltimore Ravens - Ray Lewis pretty much gets away with murder and is considered an all-time great, but Ray Rice gets banned forever,

I can see the point about the basketball side. It’s kind of like the discussion we had during the baseball game about the sliding mitts that players wear. Nobody complains because everybody does it. When Dickerson was head coach we asked him if we were recruiting Greg Monroe. His response was “we can’t afford him”. When asked why nothing is done about that he said the same thing, “everybody does it so nobody complains about it”.

Regarding some of the stuff involving the women at lsu, I can hope they suffer severe consequences, but using a position of power on a willing participant is fair game as long nobody is forced to do something they don’t want. It sounds like Miles was a little too aggressive in his situation after being told “no”, and should be punished.

I’m more interested in the fact that it sounds like there are serious cases that were reported and the athletic department and school did nothing, or at worse, covered it up.

According to Dickerson we do if we want to land top rated recruits. Actually, what he told us was that the AAU coaches are the ones that get paid as a “handler”. I think at the time, he said it would have cost around $10,000 just to have a conversation with the kid.

The exact conversation was:
Question: Were we recruiting Greg Monroe?
DD: We can’t afford to even talk to him. We don’t have that kind of money.

Doesn't change the fact that the run and the rape happened.

They are now, and always have been, trash.

Les Miles is suing lsu

Per Adam Rittenberg’s article on ESPN+
Former LSU coach Les Miles is suing the school for vacating wins in response to an NCAA infractions case, a move that dropped Miles below the threshold for College Football Hall of Fame qualification.
The 37 vacated wins dropped Miles' overall record from 145-73, a winning percentage of .665, to 108-73, a winning percentage of .597. Coaches must have a career winning percentage of .600 in at least 100 games to qualify for selection to the College Football Hall of Fame. Miles, 70, helped LSU to a national championship in 2007 and won two SEC titles at the school. He also led programs at Oklahoma State and Kansas.
