Mack Brown Stepping in It

Unread post by WaveProf »

It's hard to have a worse look than giving up 70 to JMU, yet it seems that was the "second" worst mistake of Mack Brown's Saturday:

“We will expect success in all endeavors and be prepared to assess and hold ourselves accountable when we aren't successful. Tulane is a top 40 academic institution and it should expect nothing less from its athletic department.” --Troy Dannen 11.5.16

You've got to wonder why you hang on to a coach approaching 75, especially in these NIL days. Even the greatest of all time admitted it wasn't for him and stepped away.

Mack is 73 and he's only a few months older than Saban who is only a few months older than Belichick.

For some reason I don't think of Saban as "old" while I think the other two are, yet they're all basically the same age.

True. I didn't realize they were all so close in age. Woulda swore Saban was much younger.
