LSU Recruiting

Unread post by tjtlja »

They are killing it in both football and baseball recruiting. Three five stars in football who are all #1 at their position (includes a QB). They are set-up to contend for some titles for years to come.

And still, eff them.
Sports Talk radio and most sports message boards are the killing fields of intellectual discourse.

Agree, but it must be nice to have an administration that is all in.

You need NIL to get players out of the portal and we have fans that refuse to give to NIL but sit around and blame the administration. Can't have it both ways.

Sure you can have it both ways. If the University is pushing athletics, then NIL will flourish.

Nope. Either give to NIL or don't complain about recruiting.

Disagree. Will be more prevalent when salaries kick in next year. Need that school support.

We can tackle next year's problem next year. For now, there is a direct relationship between NIL and recruiting.

Tell me, please. How raising our coaches salary will help recruiting? Same coach. Same team. Same school. But having a higher paid coach will help us recruit 5* athletes???? Me thinks NOT! Having NIL funds to pursuade top athletes is the new recruiting.

Think he is talking about players' salaries.
