Graduated Tulane Law in 1983. Previously worked as minister of security.

My recollection is he's not the first Tulane alum who's been head of a Central American nation. Can't recall his name and nation, but want to say it might have been Costa Rica - 15-20 years ago maybe?

Dates me a bit more, but I recall Mo Sacirbey (forgive the spelling) who was a football player in the late 70's, became UN Ambassador for Bosnia. Graduated and got a law degree from Tulane. I recall that there might have been another former player from the same area, but I cannot remember his name...
