Now that's a run defense that makes the other team struggle.

It helps considerably that Colorados o line is terrible. They'd make every run defense look about 25 spots better than it is

Well, their D line ain't significantly better.
Oregon has 224 rushing yards.
Nor their secondary.
Only 284 passing.

Question for all the football experts:
Why is Sanders still in the game losing by 42 pts?
Less than 4 mins left.

J.T. Daniels has a leg injury for Rice against USF.

Also, neither Rice nor USF are particularly good at this whole defense thing.

Good try but it was all from sacks. Back out the QB and a kneel down and Colorado had 14 carries for 76 yards.

Add to that they play or played Cincy, who also is 0-5 in their conference. One ot them will get a victory today...

Isn't it nice seeing uh, ucf, & cinc all bottom feeders in their new digs? Hope the 3 never leave the cellar. Although the $$$ that they get may ease the pain.

While people should acknowledge that Cincy lost Fickell and UCF was without Plumlee some, I kinda hoped they'd do okay just to prove that the gap from the AAC to the Big 12 is not that great. While we like seeing them lose because they ditched us (which naturally stems from at least a bit of jealousy), the rest of the country sees their 2023 results and subconsciously (or consciously) says "see, that's why we ignore the G5s and only care about the P5s, those teams can't compete against P5 competition every week." Their performances this year literally fuel opinions of guys like the Lubbock AP voter, and that literally does affect Tulane.

It takes a few years of recruiting under the P5 banner to compete in a better conference just like it Tulane a few years to compete in the AAC after leaving CUSA.

Or better timing. Cincy 2021 would have been a serious contender to make the Big 12 title game.

Are you kidding? Cincy 21 would have wiped up the Big 12. Oklahoma State, Baylor, and Oklahoma would have had their passing games shut down by Sauce Gardner and Co. Heck, I bet both Cincy and UCF from last year would have been top 4 or 5 in the league. We beat their champ, remember?

Tulane didn't compete in the AAC right out of the gate because of coaching and poor recruiting and the whole atmosphere of Cowen/RD.

Frankly Pete, I think what you think. I was just gently remonstrating with MiG.
I don’t think that Cincy ‘21 would wipe the floor with this year’s Texas team. But they’d get a chance to do so in the title game.
