Re: Deputy Director AD Kortney Gosha is Leaving

Nebraska, to reunite with Dannen. Personally I think he should consider getting a jump on things and going straight to Dannen’s next job.

Re: Trahan: Uhlman proving his worth leading Tulane baseball

Borrowing from another thread, we’re not “back,” but Uhlman is coming back next year and not only do I not know anyone who has a problem with it, many of us are optimistic that he’ll keep the needle moving upward.

Uhlman earned another year going into this year’s tournament. We’re not “back,” but we’re getting there.

Re: Back-to-Back Champions! Tulane 11 - Wichita 10

Jackson Linn walkoff in Bottom of 9th with 2 Outs. Print the shirts. Extend Uhlman. I’d give him a new deal. A big raise? No, but a raise. A big buyout? Hell no. But a new deal nonetheless. And if he builds an at-large team next year I’d tear it up and give him another new deal and with a big raise.

Re: Baseball is AAC Tourney 3rd Seed (Tournament Discussion Thread)

We all know there has been a ton of bright spots on offense in the lineup so far in the tournament. Here are some of the notable individual stat lines for the first 3 games as we head into the title game: Banks: 6-11, 5 R, 2 RBI, 1 HR Tuft: 5-11, 3 R, 6 RBI, 1 HR Rasmussen: 5-11, 4 R, 2 RBI, 1 HR M...

I’d bet on Wilcenski starting. If Welch can throw no reason to not have him in the pen.

Re: NCAA Antitrust Settlement

Not a lot of attention has been paid to something you say towards the bottom of your post: this is bad for the whole game. The thing that created college football as we know it is the grant in aid offered by schools. Screw with that and you might see fewer boys coming out for football in high school...

UTSA saved their ace so he’s pitching tomorrow #7 Charlotte 9 - #2 UTSA 5 (12) Looks like the Green Wave vs FAU will get started at roughly 8:56 PM CT / 9:56 PM Clearwater Time. I was trying to figure out if the late game was an advantage or a hindrance to going far. The good thing is that either w...

Re: Daniels: Top 10 quarterbacks in Tulane football history

Roch in this era would complete over 70% of his passes, possibly well over that. He was not a statue, either. He was more clutch than Ramsey as well. I saw them both and it isn’t close. In Pat’s defense, almost half of those picks came in his first year when he had no running game to help him. If he...

I’m surprised no one noticed that no named person is quoted in that ‘scoop “article.” No one who works at an AAC or MWC program would support this notion publicly, I doubt many officials at Sunbelt programs would either. I think this was gotten up by some SEC types. Derek Dooley is named in these st...

Another player of the game is Carter Benbrook. The wheels came off quickly for Fladda and Benbrook got us out of the fifth still tied and then pitched well to get us to Shuffler and Moore.

Yeah that was my assumption that they had to build infrastructure, suites, press boxes. 18k really looks bad for our league. Need to get out asap. Adding UNT & Charlotte were awful moves. Adding everyone but UAB (who have let us down badly with that clown coach), UTSA, and FAU was a bad move.

We still have two viable options to start at tackle but have to have a third guy. The “we have three backups at QB” thing is interesting but I think our third guy could take us to a bowl. Shoot, 2024 Mensah would have been a lockdown starter on every Fritz team until Pratt’s second year. I was not i...

Too many drops by the wideouts, not including Bohnaon and Williams. Goines had two nice runs after the catch on waggle-type plays. Geiger is a hitter. Darron Reed probably isn’t yet in the mix at OT but he looks like he’s trimmed down. The play of the day was a dime from Horton to Fleming. Good cove...

Lotta guys not out there but Patrick Jenkins was suited up and playing today.

I’d give an edge to Kai at QB but all three can do things. I liked thelook of the offense, to the extent we saw it. Lot of horizontal stuff.

Probably our top three OT’s weren’t playing or here today.
