Deuce Watts returned to practice, Fritz expects him to be able to participate tomorrow.
LG, Coach said his brother is having a helluva camp. All the injuries are gone, he has gained weight, and has made great strides. That is terrific news.

I assume no one from this forum attended the Spring Game and/or none of you have any news to report from it.

Or you're all pre-gaming for baseball.

Or you're all celebrating since Tulane won this morning's football game.

Nice to be back in Yulman again (just once in 2020).

Lots of missing guys, walking wounded. Thus you can't tell much or answer questions intelligently.

Carroll was out but jogging around in his jersey and his strange skin tight hoodie. Sutton, M.Jones, and Jackson did not scrimmage. Jackson was dressed out, did drills, and caught kicks. Duece Watts scrimmaged and got shaken up twice, going back in each time. Phat had once big catch that I recall, Presley had a few as well. Pratt didn't start out too accurate. Ibieta had some pretty throws down field. Bit of a windup delivery. He had one int wiped out by a penalty.

Brumfield and Booker were the backs. Booker looked good. Daniels got at least one series as a back and also lined up in the slot. Shafter and Lombardi appeared to be the top tackles, with Tuggle and Solomon the twos. Claybrook is walking around with a brace on his knee. Spears, btw, wears nothing on his. Thomas and Remondet played center behind Sincere.

Two guys in the program that I didn't see were Lance Robinson and Marvin Moody. Brooks did not dress, nor did KD Hall. Nic Hogan played DL to lend depth. Too many missed placekicks with no pressure. There is was one block, by Kiland Harrison.

This might be a contributing factor to the lack of coverage here. :-D

Another injured guy is TE Reggie Brown. He has a plastic boot on and put his bum wheel up on a scooter. At times he was standing up on two legs. Remetich has a similar boot on but no scooter.

I couldn’t make it out there but Tulane Football was tweeting “updates” as was Garland Gillen who tweeted that Ibieta threw a TD to Presley. He noted Ibiets’s first 4 drives were TD, TD, INT, TD

One of Ibieta's TD's was after the interception. Fritz allowed the drive to continue by making a phantom call of offsides. The refs did not call any penalties.

A couple of questions -

1. Are there any positions where a starter has not been decided?

2. What position(s) are a concern heading into the off season? It appears OT may be a concern from a depth standpoint. Is there a big drop off from Joey C. to the #2 guy?
