Top 20 QB nationally and 5th rated prospect out of Mississippi. This has Will Hall all over it. Are we now a destination for some of these top recruits?

Gee whiz. When Twitter started tipping its hand about a new MS commitment I did not look that high up the lists.

His film makes him look like a rich man's Keon Howard (Howard was a well thought of recruit). He doesn't play at the highest levels in his state but he dominates where he's at. He's too good to need to make a "dinner reservation" commitment. Maybe he's just trying to shut our coaches up.

I realize the pros are starting to transition to running QBs, but the tweets I saw call him a dual threat. Seeing that Auburn and Oregon want him tells me he will fit our offense nicely.

I think we are going to start seeing a lot more top tier guys look at the program. Will Hall and Fritz have a great reputation and having a couple of guys drafted helps too.

Article from a national writer for The Athletic (not by a Tulane beat writer) on Keyes's recruitment. In short, it was COVID. Fritz excels in virtual recruiting. Writer is very complimentary of Fritz and staff but still says in effect that MLTN, Keyes ends up at a P5 school.

However writer does note that if Keyes does sign with Tulane and play here, he is a potential program changer.

i got to meet him once a few years back. WF is a very likable man and I could see how we would do well in virtual recruiting.
