Just read that Toots Hibbert, Reggae singer extraordinaire, passed away overnight. He was 77. While Bob Marley was the performer most think of, I was always sort of partial to "Time tough" and "pressure drop." He was a regular at the jazz Festival
An interesting bit of trivia- Toots recorded the first song that coined the word "Reggae."
RIP Toots Hibbert
RIP Toots Hibbert
What if the Hokey Pokey really is what it's all about?

Yea, verily, The Maytals were far and away my favorite Reggae group. I ranked the Wailers about 3rd or 4th, and never understood why so much fuss was made over them.AO Sig wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 9:22 am Just read that Toots Hibbert, Reggae singer extraordinaire, passed away overnight.
