Agreed. No matter what happens you have to use your best. He is totally fresh. I don’t get it.

What the heck are we doing? We walk the go ahead run to go after their best hitter. Now we go to Gillies.

Let’s get out of the inning and add a couple insurance runs in the bottom half.

Just why didn’t we pitch to the guy before him?

Gillies gets the job done but a total head scratcher.

The hit parade continues but not the kind we want.

I think the other guy has more HR power.

Mcabe has 12 I think.

Litchfield has to be hurt. He is very good and has not pitched all weekend.

Interesting to see Bennett Lee with shin pads on, so he must be warming up pitchers.

Huge there. Second and third nobody out.

Just lift it to the outfield.

Honestly, folks, I just got home, turned on tv. We had men on 1st & 2nd, no outs, score 8-7; ucf was making a pitching change. Then all H, E, double hockey sticks broke out. Glad the Wave saved the best for last.

Recap:

They hit about 10 guys, we couldn’t get a big hit to save our lives, big play was a ball through the legs of first baseman, Hart first homer, Hastings first triple, lots of complaining from me and Burns grand slam.

When I saw it live, I thought Pena might have hurt himself badly. If I were coaching 3rd, I think I'd have waved Hastings, presuming that Pena was not up to making a throw. Ultimately, though, even if we didn't get to see it, I think he soldiered up and did get the ball in.
