Good teams overcome the occasional hose from the refs. Bad teams use it as an excuse. Which are we?
Don't give me that bull. We can't afford a blown call like that.
I'm not giving you anything. I'm telling you how it is in the real world of sports.

No. We are not good enough to overcome blown calls like that.

I agree with you that we are not good enough. But that doesn't change the fact that good teams overcome things like that. Because they are good teams, physically and mentally. We are not there yet.

Nice call by our OC! QB draw. Who could have predicted that.

It worked out to a 40 yard punt with no return. You're full of kah-kah. most coaches would take that any day

Yeah. That's outstanding. HS punters do that.

It may not be outstanding, but it sure as hell ain't crap.

Let's agree to disagree. Our net punting this year is above average in the 128 schools of FBS. We have many, many things to work on other than the punting game. As in, we have 5 whopping first downs in the first half. I'd be more worried about the anemic offense we've showed all year than getting 4 more yards per punt (which WOULD make it outstanding).

Is Ward hurt or has garbage time started?

We're going to need different players. It would help if they were better but Fritz clearly can't do a whole lot with what he inherited.

Hurt. Late in the first half. Unfortunately, a semi cheap shot by our guy. Oh well, remember what this team did to Joe Kemp.

In the space of 6 real time minutes, Tulane punted, Houston 3 and out and punt, Tulane 3 and out punt.
