Wright missed out on the top 3 finalists for the Ray Guy award. According to Guerry, he met all the qualifications except “contributing to wins”.

Wright apparently decided he was tired of being blamed for Tulane losses. He declared for the draft today via Twitter.

According to Guerry, this decision was made prior to the season. Also notes that besides his 47 yd average, he only allowed 16 return yards all season.

Yes he said he was leaving a couple of weeks ago in an interview with Guerry. It's why Casey Glover got a scholarship.
