Wright apparently decided he was tired of being blamed for Tulane losses. He declared for the draft today via Twitter.

According to Guerry, this decision was made prior to the season. Also notes that besides his 47 yd average, he only allowed 16 return yards all season.

Yes he said he was leaving a couple of weeks ago in an interview with Guerry. It's why Casey Glover got a scholarship.

Right, he's been here 4 years, but still has a year left if he wanted it

He got it because a spot opened or there’s a 1 Glover minimum rule on the roster?

Pro Football Network named Wright the AAC punter of the year.

This is the same site that named Canady Defensive rookie of the year.
