Represent us well  I want to go but have to much to do with my house to spend the weekend away.

One advantage of retirement - and not having storm cleanup to worry about. Short drive, too.
I hope they play UAB in Yulman, but wouldn't mind making a 2nd trip to Legion Field.

I'll be there, but I haven't decided on my attire yet.

Anyone tailgating? Apparently the parking lots open at 8AM. No official Tulane tailgate, however. Tailgating is allowed in lots K and M, and parking is free.

So sorry to hear that.
May you get secure tarps soon and a reputable roofer.

I highly recommend Robertson out of Belle Chasse.

Soph, the wife and I are heading up, but are leaving in the morning to drive up. We will probably only get there at 11ish, but will drink a few cold ones before we head in. Text or call me!

we are still evacuated in SC with an unlivable house at home (leaning on its foundation, water in every drywall, all exterior patios blown away) so won't be heading to Birmingham. Not sure I'll even be able to watch on tv, which is the first in a LONG time for us. Let's hope we win big and we won't miss much.

Did you tell me previously that guy that was in law school with me while you were in undergrad? Blonde haired? If so, I saw him last road trip to B’ham many years ago for a UAB game in the Scelfo era. I’ll be sure and say “hello”!

was that a requirement at your wedding, that the best man be of equal height?

what's the prognosis? Are they going to just have to knock it down and rebuild? I imagine working with the insurance company is like getting a live action colonoscopy, a la Katie Couric.

TBA

We are meeting with an engineer on Monday, so we have info to combat the insurance company with. Insurance comes Thursday.

Prof, sorry about that situation. That stinks. My at-a-distance engineering opinion is to rip it down. Take that for what it's worth. I can't imagine it's more affordable (and safe) to move it back in place...

Sprout, you are correct about my friend. Tulane Law 1991.
