Good Vibrations for game 1, Oklahoma

Post by Fan Since '54 »

Please post your thoughts and images for game #1 of the 2021 football season. Gonna be a tough game since the the Sooners are already at or near the top of the preseason rankings. I'll start.

And so it begins.

my thoughts? I will be surprised if this game is played in New Orleans next Saturday.

would have been nice to see an almost sold out/attended Yulam (tickets sold vs butts in the seats)

Couldn't you have done this for the hurricane instead, to actually be helpful?

Well Prof, if you'll look closely, there IS a thread for the hurricane. And if memory serves you told me once previously that these threads actually don't/can't have ANY EFFECT ON THE OUTCOME OF ANY TULANE GAME. Apparently you backtracked on that statement. Now I don't expect that Tulane has much of a chance of comming out on top (so say the oddsmakers), but that doesn't stop me from offering support for their efforts. But apparently some here don't wish to throw in their support fo the Wave via these threads. It is up to the detractors to look at themselves in the mirror and recognize themselves as individuals who only care to throw sh_t on those who are willing to support the Wave in any way they see fit. This is only one of the those ways. And I presonally have been supporting them since before you and lots of others here were born.

PS: Be safe from IDA! That goes for everyone here and anyone else in her way .

One more thing. Roll Wave, beat the Sooners!!!

A heads up. For those of you going to the game, don't forget to bring your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card. You will need that, along with, of course, your tickets for the game.

In case anyone missed the 13-page thread that has consumed most of the posting here this past month. Or the multiple emails from Tulane. Or the news.

By starting this thread, I see you have accepted the terms of my offer. If we beat Oklahoma, you are free to start all the juju/vibrations threads you want without me saying a word about it. If we do not win, you can no longer start these threads.

Good call. Forget the outcome of the game, this should seal the deal once and for all.

All the mods have to do is kill the thread once it appears. If someone screams that is against the rules, change the rules. Pretty easy if you ask me. Otherwise, history shows us it will continue.

Hey, that's fine...a deal is a deal. If '54 starting these threads isn't the biggest jinx of all time as all evidence to date indicates, then we should win.

I know I’m slow to the party but this is too much for even me. I don’t want to spend time with Marie Leveau in St Louis Cemetery any longer.

If these don’t stop, I’ll wake up and forget to cheer for the Bruins Saturday night.
