30 for 30 on LSU missing 3 practices is already in production.krewe of ham and eggs wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 5:12 pm
Why would a Tulane victory over a top 5 ranked team be discussed at a national level when LSUcks faced so much hardship this week

Re: OU game predictions

From the OU perspective...
Tramel's ScissorTales: Hurricane Ida ruins Tulane's biggest home game in decades

Some pretty level-headed thoughts about what a bummer this is.
Also an interesting thought that I'm sure many OU fans are thinking of: Alabama last played at Tulane in 1992 then won a NC. LSU last played at Tulane in 2007 then won a NC.

We wouldn't just be the top story on every sports outlet, considering this past weekend we'd probably get a mention on just "regular news".

Biggest Tulane home game attendance since the 70s?

As someone who lost a large portion of my home, I could have used the distraction of this game Saturday.

Did I see Mel Hair Gel on ESPN picking Sooners to win the National Championship? If so that’s better than Jiu-Jiu, Good Vibrations, and 31 points. Again if true, take the Wave and the points early and often while the OU folks hang out with hardest working hairstyle in sportsdom.

I saw Oklahoma is painting the angry wave on the field for the game. With moving the game, giving us the gate still, and the little gestures like this, Oklahoma is winning me over as a fan this season (after Saturday of course).

NOT much is free hand anymore. Stencils highly involved.

I was actually surprised (in the Twitter video I linked) how much of the "filling in between the lines" was actually freehand. They outlined the angry wave in black but colored it in freehand without any masking. Like the old game Operation, "it takes a very steady hand..."Marathon Wave wrote: ↑Fri Sep 03, 2021 8:14 pmNOT much is free hand anymore. Stencils highly involved.

I know moral victories don’t count but I say Tulane covers the 31.5 point spread!
Re: OU game predictions
No power so am here in OKC. Weather is soon to be very hot so lots of spf. Sooners are all universally polite. Prepared to Hulabaloo with any other Greenies who’ve made it here too
Let’s sneak up on them. Roll Wave!

Re: OU game predictions
Cautiously optimistic…. As others mentioned, big change for the Wave. Everything is thrown off kilter but OU seems to have been very accommodating. I wish we had a cream puff game before this to get a quick tune up in.

Re: OU game predictions
When this game was going to be at Yulman I thought somewhere around 42/49-21 OU. Now with it being a home game for OU following the disruptions we have faced I have no idea. Just get through the game healthy and hope OU is overlooking us some.
I think they will call off the dogs once they cover the spread as to try not to embarrass us.

We looked so good outside of a few things we can easily clean up. Gutsy performance. Excited for the rest of the year.
Re: OU game predictions
For those of you with a sporting bent and had an O/U of 69, I’m sure there were fourth q heart attacks when fritz went for 2 with the score 40-28 instead of kicking the EP and Pratt tripped over his lineman. Next series the OU kicker missed his FG.
