Yup. It’s the social media equivalent of getting little gold stars next to your name in elementary school for clapping the chalkboard erasers outside. Long term, it’s about as relevant.gerryb323 wrote:Feeding the Twitter generation that needs the likes.ml wave wrote:Curious as to what this helps?noladave wrote:Follow these guys - they like the attention, and it helps if you like or retweet some of their messages.

I get that but not sure how that helps in getting information out to the public unless the point is that an extra like or two will encourage more "keep grinding" posts in which case (shrug emoji).TUPF wrote:Yup. Twitter's algorithms are based on engagement and views.ml wave wrote:Curious as to what this helps?noladave wrote:Follow these guys - they like the attention, and it helps if you like or retweet some of their messages.
By viewing, re-tweeting, and liking, you drive engagement metrics on Tulane related content, which helps promote Tulane related content into other peoples Twitter feeds.

Getting some penetration into the opponent's backfield and pressure on their QB would certainly be a welcome change and might help stem the loss of Nickerson...
