If last year’s joint venture helped land some of the kids we signed then I’m all for it. Orgeron might be hoping this helps his recruiting :-)

Is this helping us at all? Given LSU won't play us in basketball or football, this cooperation is a little annoying. I'd really like to know how we are benefitting.

You get guys on campus, that might not ever consider coming to campus. Once they get here, and realize that the other school is not interested, you have a shot. I’d say it’s all about getting exposure to our coaches, facilities, and campus.

We so rarely go head to head for recruits, I don’t see how it would hurt us.

It helps LSU way more than Tulane. At the last minute LSU gave guys scholarshipsto guys that were seriously considering Tulane-- Foster Moreau, Duke Riley-- to name a few, after a couple of 4 and 5 star recruits decided to go elsewhere.
