Has TU ever tried throw backs? I don't recall them ever doing this. Next year is 20 year anniversary of undefeated season...just saying.

Other than the AW finally being adopted as the full time helmet decal, not a lot has changed since 1998 so that throwback wouldn't be much of a throwback. The combover wave is still around.

Happy connotations aside, the uniforms in 1998 were nothing special...

Uniforms in 1998 were quite basic, I didn't really care for them, especially the silver pants. The black pants thing, Coach Bowden brought those with his own money and we were pretty stoked when we got in the locker room and saw them before the USM game. It reinforced for us that this was a huge game, essentially the championship.

Our Uniform game now is soo slick tho! Ice white, I hope the Panthers can swim in that ICY COLD WATER when that Tsunami hits!

This should be our home uniform every home game in a season but one when we wear either all whites or the powder blue shirts. When we play at home all the green helmets and all the green pants should be sent to me. I'll give them back after the game ends.

This. This combo should be our "basic" uniform. And WHITE helmets for God's sake. At least make THAT part permanent.

Absolutely, positively, this is definitely who we are....It would help us bring back some TulaneTradition that we lost over recent years. I suggested this uniform to both Dannen and Fritz last year, but it fell on deaf ears.......I was told the different color uniforms helps in recruiting.....Hard for me to believe. Maybe if all of us send AD and WF an email how much we enjoyed this weeks uniforms, they may pay little more attention to the fans....
