Former Colorado OL Kanan Ray joins TU FB

Some help for the OL on the way. He’s played some tackle and guard at the college level. When he put his name in the transfer market it said he’d played in 22 games at CU, starting 3 at guard. He signed with UCLA out of HS. Compared to most of what we lost along the OL in the offseason I’d say he’s an upgrade in depth. He’s a grad transfer but could have more than one year of eligibility.

Colorado has been absolutely smoked by the transfer portal this year. They've lost 23 players (including Clayton to us as well), with very few replacements. And before you think they are all transferring to lower levels, teams like USC, Michigan St., Iowa St., and Oregon are in on former Buffs players.

Kanan Ray included in his tweet that he thanks "the three coaching staffs that he's had" in his time at Colorado. That's got to hurt.
