from P. A. LA, 5'11" 184 lbs, turns out to be a as great as the other DB from P. A. LA, 5'11" 195 lbs, and 0 stars out of high school with only one offer but who was a 1st rounder and who made the play of the game?

How is it possible that he was a 0 star rated player? Wow I bet the Indiana fans were disappointed when they signed a 0 star player back in 2004.

Me thinks L.J. Parker is going to turn out to be a player. I love what I read of his work ethic too, and that means a lot.

Why don't you list all the 0 or 2 star players that actually turned out to be 0 or 2 star players? I think that endeavor may take awhile.

the bottom line EZ, is that we're rolling the dice on the talent evaluation skills of this Coaching Staff. We have few highly rated recruits (no 4 "Star" recruits, Blue Chippers, Parade All Americans, etc). Pretty much all we have are the raw stats and the assurance that some/most were seen in person at various camps by this coaching staff before they made an offer. Which is why its so hard for me to get a handle on the true talent level here. I know I really like some and I know I have no way of knowing how good the rest will be. It didn't take a genius to know Page and Roydell and Losman had the potential to be very special here. Its harder looking at these kids.

Actually, I think you know three or four of them. They'd make a pretty fair 4X100 team, don't you think?

RW, Y'all just have to play along with me sometimes.

I said "wouldn't it be great if ... ?" because I am a hopeful Green Wave fan and I thought it was kind of neat that we signed a guy from the same school.

Alas our numbers are dwindling, however there is hope for a strong comeback starting next month.

Well they were saying on the radio that Tracy Porter was mainly a basketball player in high school, and one day when he was in the gym working out the football coach asked him to go to a 7 on 7 camp with the football team and he did very good there. So, i think his only year playing football was his senior year, so that explains why he wasnt heavily recruited.
